Bonefish Grill in Westwood!

We went to the Bonefish Grill in Westwood, MA to try out some of their great food. We started with their famous “Bang Bang” Shrimp, Thai Coconut Shrimp and Beef and Ginger Dumplings. They were very tasty. The thai coconut shrimp were so large and really good. We tried the White Zinfandel and it was refreshing. I tried the Hawaiian Martini which was made with Rum instead of vodka or gin and it was quite delicious.

Their New England Clam Chowder was quite different and very good. It seemed to have a stronger flavor of bacon than others we have had. For the entrees, we sampled a variety of main courses and they all lived up to our expectations. The salmon cooked on a oak wood grill was flavorful and moist. The lamb chops were delicious. The scallop and shrimp skewer was cooked well and the side dishes were quite tasty. You can add a lobster tail for an additional $13 which we did and found it to be a nice addition to the meal.

Our daughter had the Mac and Cheese which was made with Velveeta cheese and curly pasta. She really liked the pasta curls and while the mac and cheese wasn’t Kraft, she still ate it!

The artisan bread that they serve table side is made onsite and was absolutely delectable. The service was outstanding.

The only thing we found to be negative was that the french fries, and homemade potato chips were a little too salty for our taste.

To finish up, we had the fresh berry shortcake for dessert which was a nice ending to a great meal.

NOTE: We were invited to try the food at Bonefish Grill at no cost in exchange for writing a review of our experience. There was no promise of a positive review. However, we really enjoyed our meal!
