Fall Harvest Festival at Patriot Place!

On Saturday the 13th, we attended the Fall Harvest Festival at Patriot Place presented by Ocean Spray. We were excited to take our daughter for the kids activities. We started the day at Bass Pro Shops where they had a Craisin vs. Raisin challenge which we all took. Then we took a hayride around the parking lot (they had two tractors, so we didn't have to wait in line a long time which was nice). The hayride was so much fun, the weather was so nice outside and we wish we could have gone on another but we decided to skip it since the line was so long. They had tables set up where you could eat apples that were locally grown, make your own cranberry bog in a cup (Dave enjoyed that one!) and make a leather bracelet. The leather bracelet idea was very cute, which went along with the Professional Bull Riding theme they had but it was geared more towards older kids, which made it hard when our little one saw it and really wanted to participate.  The final product was cute, Dave jumped in to help since it was a little hard to customize and assemble.

Then, we headed to the North retail shops where they had a huge area set up where you could pick a pumpkin and paint it. We really enjoyed that. It was awesome because they even had stacks of hay set up where you could leave the pumpkin to dry and pick it up later. Such a great idea!!

Life is good had mocha coffee and hot chocolate from a Keurig machine and some Dunkin Donuts munchkins. It was great! They even had a pumpkin with their mascot Jake's face carved out.

At 2 pm, the Taste of Patriot Place started and we got to sample various fall themed cranberry treats. While the lines were long, the food was well worth it!

We can't wait until next year!
